WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
1T Apple Cider Vinegar
1C Isola Bio Soy Milk (use All Good Oat milk for soy free)
4T Ceres Organics Ground Flax
12T Warm water
2t Flavorganics Vanilla Extract
170g Nuttelex Buttery – melted
2C Ceres Organics White Flour
1 ½C Ceres Organics Golden Sugar
4t Chantal Naturals Baking Powder
½ t Ceres Natural Sea Salt

ICING:
75g Nuttelex buttery
350g Ceres Organics Icing Sugar
1t Flavorganics Vanilla Extract

Easy Vanilla Cake Recipe

WHAT TO DO:

Get your oven preheating to 180 degrees, we won’t be here long!

Add apple cider vinegar to your soy milk, mix, and set aside to turn into buttermilk – it will thicken. Next make flax “egg” by mixing the flax and warm water, put this aside too

While you are waiting for those to make magic, mix the dry ingredients together in a bowl and grease your cake tin

Add the soy milk, melted Nuttelex, flax egg and vanilla to the dry ingredients and mix to combine – not too much

That’s it! Pop it in the oven for about 45-50 mins, keep an eye on it, a toothpick should come out clean

ICING:

Beat your Nuttelex for a few minutes, you can do this by hand, with a hand mixer or with a cake mixer.

Once it’s looking lighter in colour, add your icing sugar and vanilla and beat until it reaches your desired consistency – avoid the temptation to add any liquid!
