APPLE CRUMBLE

SERVES: 8

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
500g Stewed Apple (I’m lazy and just get the tinned stuff)
2T Brown Sugar (optional)
100g melted Nuttelex Buttery
1C Ceres Organics White Flour
3/4C Ceres Organics Golden Sugar
1t Chantal Naturals Baking Powder
1 1/2C Ceres Organics Quick Cooking Rolled Oats
1t Ceres Organics Ground Cinnamon
1-2T Ceres Organics Ground Ginger
Small pinch of Ceres Naturals Sea Salt (optional)
70g Slithered Almonds

Apple Crumble Recipe

WHAT TO DO:

SPOILER ALERT: This is quick and easy. No rubbing in butter to flour or any of that fussing about.

Give your dish a quick grease with Nuttelex, pop ya fruit in and sprinkle over the brown sugar if using.

Grab a big ol’ mixing bowl and put in everything dry; so everything except your melted Nuttelex.

Mix well, then get your Nuttelex in there and mix again.

Here’s where the magic happens, crumble the crumble over the fruit and bake at 180C until golden brown – approx 25 mins but keep an eye on it

Serve with your fave vegan ice cream and/or Alpro soy custard and enjoy!

Switch up the fruit.

My family’s fave combos are: Apple and mixed berries, Apple and pear, Apple and peach

GO NUTS: Switch out the almonds for walnuts or do a mix!
